❤️ VI. THE LOVERS

Faux Tarot Series | Card VI

Love is patient. Love is kind… Love is the connection between beautiful women sometimes!

Love is love, baby. And sometimes it's gay as hell. 🌈❤️

Welcome to The Lovers.

Two women's hands, holding one another. A simple gesture that somehow manages to say an entire novel's worth of things without uttering a single word.

Love. Connection. Intimacy. Trust. Belonging.

And perhaps most importantly, the freedom to love someone without having to explain, defend, or justify it to anyone else.

Because love between two women isn't a political statement, a lifestyle choice, or something that needs anyone's approval.

It's just love. Beautiful, ordinary, extraordinary love.

Part of my original Faux Tarot series, The Lovers celebrates queer love in all its glorious forms. The butterflies, the stolen glances, the hand-holding, the first kisses, the anniversaries, the weddings, and the quiet little moments that make sharing your life with someone so damn wonderful.

It's for the women who spent years dreaming of a love they weren't sure they'd ever get to experience openly.

For the couples who fought for the right to stand beside one another.

For the newly out, the proudly out, the still-figuring-it-out, and the people who've been holding hands with the same woman for forty years.

For the girls who were told their love was a phase.

Plot twist, Brenda. They're married now. 💅🏼

The Lovers is a celebration of finding your person, reaching for their hand, and knowing that whatever the world has to say about it, you belong right there beside them.

And if someone has a problem with that?

They can kindly take their opinions and fuck all the way off.

Love is love. And this one's for the girls. 🌈

💕 A Little Love, A Little Glass, A Whole Lot of Pride

In traditional tarot, The Lovers represents love, harmony, connection, and meaningful relationships.

My interpretation celebrates those ideas through the simple beauty of two women's hands reaching for one another.

It's a reminder that some of the most meaningful moments in a relationship aren't necessarily the grand gestures.

Sometimes it's a hand reaching across the table.

Fingers intertwining during a movie.

Walking down the street together, hand in hand, without thinking twice about who's watching.

Or finally being able to introduce the woman you love as your wife.

Sometimes the smallest gestures represent the biggest freedoms.

Whether you're celebrating an engagement, wedding, anniversary, Pride, or simply the joy of loving the woman you love, The Lovers is a little piece of that happiness preserved in glass.

Each panel is individually handcrafted using traditional stained glass techniques. Every piece is carefully selected, cut, ground, copper-foiled, soldered, cleaned, and finished by hand.

Because a love this beautiful deserves something a little more special than another mass-produced sign telling everyone to live, laugh, and love.

🛠️ Made to Order: Love Is in the Air, Glass Is on My Workbench

PLEASE NOTE: THIS LISTING IS FOR A BRAND-NEW, MADE-TO-ORDER PIECE.

The artwork shown in the photographs is a previously completed panel from my original Faux Tarot series.

You're purchasing a newly handcrafted version of an existing design that has already been created and successfully executed.

Because I've made this pattern before, minor adjustments may be necessary to improve construction, refine details discovered during the original execution, or accommodate current glass availability.

Any proposed changes that would materially affect the appearance of your artwork will be disclosed and discussed with you before your purchase is finalized.

⏳ Production Time

Estimated turnaround: 4–6 weeks.

Each panel is individually handcrafted after your order is placed.

Production timelines may vary depending on my current workload, material availability, and the complexity of the artwork.

This estimate does not include shipping transit time. Any significant delays will be communicated, with options provided in accordance with applicable law.

Love might happen at first sight, but stained glass takes a little longer.

💰 Why Does Handmade Stained Glass Cost What It Does?

Because love is free, but the glass supplier hasn't gotten that memo.

Every panel begins with an original design that must be translated into a pattern suitable for stained glass construction.

Then comes selecting the glass, cutting each individual piece, grinding everything to fit, applying copper foil, soldering, cleaning, and finishing the artwork.

And that's before accounting for specialized tools, equipment, chemicals, consumable supplies, and the many hours of labor required to create the finished piece.

The price reflects the materials, original pattern development, specialized equipment, and craftsmanship involved in creating your artwork.

You're not purchasing something that rolled off a factory assembly line.

You're purchasing an original, individually handcrafted work of art made with patience, intention, and an unreasonable amount of expensive glass.

🖤 The Fine Print (Because Even Love Has Paperwork)

✨ Handmade Means Handmade

Every Rainjarden Does panel is individually handcrafted.

Minor variations in glass color, texture, solder lines, and overall appearance are natural characteristics of handmade artwork.

Because glass availability can change over time, your finished panel may feature slightly different shades or textures than the original photographed artwork.

No two pieces will be completely identical.

☀️ Lighting Matters

Stained glass is a dramatic little bitch.

Colors and textures can appear differently depending on natural sunlight, artificial lighting, backgrounds, viewing angles, and even your computer or phone screen settings.

Your artwork may look different throughout the day depending on where it's displayed.

That's not a defect. That's glass doing its fancy little light-bending thing.

🩹 Glass Is Glass

Stained glass is beautiful, fragile, and occasionally a little stabby.

Handle your artwork carefully, display it securely, and keep it away from small children, pets, and anyone who treats breakable objects like they're auditioning for a demolition derby.

This is decorative artwork, not a toy.

📦 Shipping: Handle With Love, Not Violence

Every Rainjarden Does piece is packaged as if it contains the key to saving humanity.

Your artwork will be carefully wrapped, protected, and photographed before shipping.

Unfortunately, shipping carriers occasionally behave as though your package has personally offended them.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact Rainjarden Does as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery, with photographs of the damaged glass, original packaging, and shipping label.

Please retain all packaging materials.

If a return is necessary, I'll provide a prepaid return shipping label and repair shipping-related damage at no additional cost.

If the artwork cannot reasonably be repaired, an appropriate replacement or refund will be arranged.

You will not be responsible for return shipping costs associated with damage sustained during its original shipment.

The 24-hour reporting period is requested to help document shipping damage and does not eliminate any rights provided by applicable law.

🖤 All Sales Final

Because each panel is handcrafted specifically for your order, all sales are final for change-of-mind purchases.

Returns, exchanges, and cancellations due to buyer's remorse are not accepted, except as outlined in our policies or required by applicable law.

This does not affect your rights if your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered.

For complete information, please review our All Sales Final & Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy in the FAQ section of our website.
