🌈 THE RAINBOW

Faux Tarot Series

For the love, the loss, the hope, and all the beautiful shit in between.

Rainbows are funny little things.

They're just sunlight and water having a moment, yet somehow humanity collectively decided they should represent everything from hope and happiness to eternal love, new beginnings, and the pets we desperately wish could have stayed a little longer.

And honestly? I'm here for all of it.

Welcome to The Rainbow. 🌈

Part of my original Faux Tarot series, this piece is a celebration of everything a rainbow can represent, and the beautiful thing is that you get to decide what it means to you.

Maybe it's a celebration of queer love. A colorful declaration that love is love, regardless of who you love, how you identify, or how uncomfortable your existence makes that one relative nobody wants to invite to Thanksgiving.

Maybe it's a tribute to a beloved pet who's crossed the Rainbow Bridge. The little asshole who destroyed your furniture, stole your food, left fur on every conceivable surface, and somehow took an enormous piece of your heart when they left.

Maybe it's about finding hope after a particularly shitty chapter of your life. A reminder that even when everything feels like a dumpster fire, something beautiful can still come out of the storm.

Or maybe you just really fucking like rainbows.

That's valid, too.

Not every piece of art needs to represent a profound spiritual awakening or some deeply complicated metaphor about the human condition.

Sometimes you just want something colorful hanging in your window.

And sometimes that colorful thing means absolutely everything.

The Rainbow doesn't tell you what to feel. It leaves room for whatever you bring to it. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

🌈 A Little Color Goes a Long Way

The Rainbow is part of my Faux Tarot collection, a series of original stained glass panels inspired by the visual language of traditional tarot cards.

While traditional tarot cards have established symbolism and interpretations, my Faux Tarot series takes a slightly different approach.

Each piece tells its own story, and sometimes that story is whatever the person looking at it needs it to be.

The Rainbow can represent love, remembrance, individuality, hope, resilience, acceptance, or simply the joy of surrounding yourself with color.

Every panel is individually handcrafted using traditional stained glass techniques. Each piece of glass is carefully selected, cut, ground, copper-foiled, soldered, cleaned, and finished by hand.

No mass production. No factory assembly line.

Just an artist with an expensive glass habit and an unreasonable willingness to spend hours making things pretty.

🛠️ Made to Order: Your Own Little Piece of Somewhere Over the Bullshit

PLEASE NOTE: THIS LISTING IS FOR A BRAND-NEW, MADE-TO-ORDER PIECE.

The artwork shown in the photographs is a previously completed panel from my original Faux Tarot series.

You are purchasing a newly handcrafted version of an existing design that has already been created and successfully executed.

Because I've made this pattern before, minor adjustments may be necessary to improve construction, refine details discovered during the original execution, or accommodate current glass availability.

Any proposed changes that would materially affect the appearance of your artwork will be disclosed and discussed with you before your purchase is finalized.

⏳ Production Time

Estimated turnaround: 4–6 weeks.

Each panel is individually handcrafted after your order is placed.

Production times may vary depending on my current workload, glass availability, and other factors involved in creating your artwork.

This estimate covers production and does not include shipping transit time.

Any significant delays will be communicated.

I know waiting sucks. Unfortunately, stained glass doesn't respond particularly well to being told to hurry the fuck up.

💰 Why Does Handmade Stained Glass Cost What It Does?

Because rainbows might be free in nature, but the glass supplier has some very different opinions about that.

Every Rainbow panel begins with an original design that must be translated into a pattern suitable for stained glass construction.

And that means more than drawing something pretty and hoping for the best.

Each piece of glass must be individually selected, cut, ground, fitted, copper-foiled, soldered, cleaned, and finished.

Then there's the cost of the glass itself, solder, copper foil, chemicals, consumable supplies, and the specialized tools and equipment required to create the finished piece.

And of course, the hours of hands-on labor involved in making everything fit together.

The price reflects the cost of materials, original pattern development, specialized equipment, and the craftsmanship required to create each panel.

You're not purchasing a factory-made decoration.

You're purchasing a handcrafted piece of artwork created by someone who willingly turned a perfectly reasonable hobby into an elaborate collection of expensive tools and questionable financial decisions.

And I'd probably do it all again.

🖤 The Fine Print (Even Rainbows Have Rules)

✨ Handmade Means Handmade

Every Rainjarden Does panel is individually handcrafted.

Minor variations in glass color, texture, solder lines, and overall appearance are natural characteristics of handmade artwork.

Because glass availability changes over time, your finished piece may differ slightly from the original photographed panel.

That's part of what makes handmade artwork unique.

No two rainbows are exactly alike.

Unless we're talking about the ones printed on cheap party decorations. Those little bastards are identical.

☀️ Lighting Matters

Stained glass changes dramatically depending on the lighting behind it.

Natural sunlight, artificial lighting, backgrounds, viewing angles, and screen settings can all influence the appearance of colors and textures.

Your panel may look different throughout the day depending on where it's displayed.

That's not a defect.

That's glass doing its fancy little light-bending thing.

🩹 Glass Is Glass

Stained glass is beautiful, fragile, and occasionally a little stabby.

Handle your artwork carefully, display it securely, and keep it away from small children, pets, and anyone whose relationship with gravity is already complicated.

This is decorative artwork, not a toy.

📦 Shipping: Please Don't Yeet the Rainbow

Every Rainjarden Does piece is packaged as if it contains the key to saving humanity.

Your finished artwork will be carefully wrapped, protected, and photographed before shipping.

Unfortunately, shipping carriers sometimes behave as though they're participating in an unsanctioned Olympic throwing event.

If your artwork arrives damaged, please contact Rainjarden Does as soon as possible, preferably within 24 hours of delivery, with photographs of the damaged glass, original packaging, and shipping label.

Please retain all packaging materials.

If a return is necessary, I'll provide a prepaid return shipping label and repair shipping-related damage at no additional cost.

If the artwork cannot reasonably be repaired, an appropriate replacement or refund will be arranged.

🖤 All Sales Final

Because each panel is individually handcrafted specifically for your order, all sales are final for change-of-mind purchases.

Returns, exchanges, or cancellations due to buyer's remorse are not accepted, except as outlined in our policies or required by applicable law.

This does not affect your rights if your artwork arrives damaged, defective, or materially different from what you ordered.

For complete information, please review our All Sales Final & Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy in the FAQ section of our website.
