💰 Why Does Handmade Stained Glass Cost What It Does?

Because despite what the internet would have you believe, handmade stained glass isn't just a bunch of colorful glass held together with hopes, dreams, and a glue gun.

There's the original pattern design, the cost of the glass itself, and hours of cutting, grinding, foiling, soldering, cleaning, and finishing.

And that's before accounting for specialized tools, equipment, supplies, and the occasional sacrifice to the glass gods.

You're not just paying for materials. You're paying for the time, skill, and craftsmanship required to turn an idea into something tangible.

I'll include the actual material costs and production hours for this particular piece once we have those figures.

Handmade Means Handmade

Every Rainjarden Does piece is created by hand. Minor variations in glass color, texture, solder lines, and overall appearance are natural characteristics of handmade artwork.

Lighting Matters

Stained glass changes dramatically depending on the lighting behind it. Natural sunlight, artificial lighting, backgrounds, and even your screen settings can influence how the colors appear.

Basically, glass has moods. We respect them.

Glass Is Glass

Stained glass is fragile and occasionally a little stabby. Handle carefully, display securely, and keep away from anyone who treats breakable objects like they're auditioning for a demolition crew.

All Sales Final & Shipping Damage
